Let's increase food access to more households in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties!
Did you know that Franklin and Grand Isle counties combined make up an area larger than 70% of the other counties in the state? And if you don’t have access to a car, it probably seems even bigger. Indeed, ready access to transportation is beyond the reach of many of the people we see at NorthWest Family Foods. So often they must wait for a friend or relative to be driving into St. Albans or catch an all-too-infrequent bus just to get their essentials.
We want to do something about it.
NorthWest Family Foods has a bold vision: increase food access to more households in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties.
We’re joining with our sister food programs in Chittenden and Addison counties to pool our resources, put our heads together, and find a way to make our services accessible for everyone. We call the project the Champlain Valley Food Network and its goal is to get rolling with deliveries to more households who can’t reach us.
We’ve hired a new Network Food Coordinator who will focus exclusively on NorthWest Family Foods, but we need your help.
Please join us by making a gift to support this important work now. Your support will get food directly to the people who need it most. Together, we will connect the Champlain Valley Food Network.
