Your neighbor, your colleague, your child's teacher could be seeking help...
The Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity (CVOEO) provides individuals and families with the basic needs of food, fuel, and housing support in times of crisis, and helps them acquire the necessary education, financial skills, and assets to build a stable future in which they thrive.
Since the pandemic began, our organization has adapted to the rapid changes in our community. Our Community Resource Center in Burlington now shares a space with Feeding Chittenden, which allows for coordinated access to resources and meals for our neighbors in need. Our Community Outreach & Resource Advocacy Team drives their mobile unit to people experiencing homelessness to help connect them with essential supplies and services. Our Housing Advocacy Program supports Vermonters who are struggling with housing and provides aid and resources to the community.
With the support of our friends and neighbors, CVOEO offers a holistic approach to serving individuals, families, and communities in Vermont. Your contribution strengthens our nine distinct yet interconnected programs and creates a more just society for everyone in our community.
